Child Safety Standards

UK Homes Network Ltd

Last updated: Tuesday 21st July 2026

This page sets out the standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) that apply to the apps and services operated by UK Homes Network Ltd, including the UK Homes Network app and the Gatha app (together, "our apps"). It is published to be accessible to anyone, anywhere, and to meet the requirements of the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy.

Our position

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. CSAE, including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers children, is strictly prohibited across our apps and services. So is child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including photos, videos and computer-generated imagery.

Our apps are professional networking platforms for the UK property and trades industries and are restricted to users aged 18 and over. The absence of intended child users does not lessen our commitment: these standards apply in full regardless.

What we prohibit

The following are banned on our platforms without exception:

  • CSAM of any kind, in any format

  • any content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits, endangers or abuses a minor

  • attempts to solicit, share, request or link to any such content

  • use of our messaging, posting or community features to contact or target minors

How we enforce these standards

  • Age restriction: our apps require users to be 18 or over.

  • Moderation: our moderation team reviews reported content and may proactively review public content. Accounts involved in CSAE are permanently banned.

  • In-app reporting: every post, comment, message and profile can be reported from within our apps. Reports relating to child safety are prioritised above all other categories.

  • Action on CSAM: if we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM on our platforms, we remove it promptly, preserve evidence as required by law, terminate the accounts involved, and report to the relevant authorities, including the National Crime Agency (CEOP) and the Internet Watch Foundation in the UK, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) where appropriate.

  • Cooperation with law enforcement: we cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations relating to child safety, in accordance with applicable law.

Compliance with law

We comply with applicable child safety laws, including the laws of the United Kingdom and, where applicable, the Online Safety Act 2023. We review these standards regularly and update them as our services and legal obligations evolve.

How to report a concern

  • In the app: use the report option on any post, comment, message or profile.

  • By email: [email protected] with "Child Safety" in the subject line. Reports are reviewed as a priority.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first on 999 (UK) or your local emergency number.
